The Association of Tanzania Employers (ATE) led by its CEO, Adv. Suzanne Ndomba-Doran participated in the National Celebration of Law Day held at Chinagali Park in Dodoma. Other lawyers from ATE Legal Team also joined the legal fraternity to celebrate this day in Dar es Salaam and Arusha. This day marks the commencement of Court Business for the year 2023.
This year’s commemoration was graced by the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, H.E. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan.
The Chief Guest acknowledged what the Chief Justice had said; echoing the call of ATE CEO on the need of the Judiciary to issue business-friendly Judgments which attract investments and do not discourage businesses and eventually decrease employment in the country.
Other distinguished guests included the Chief Justice of Tanzania, His Lordship Prof. Ibrahim Juma, Hon. Speaker of the Parliament of the URT, Dr. Tulia Akson, Chief Justice of Zanzibar, Minister of Constitutional Affairs, Justices of Court of Appeal, Judges of the High Court, State Attorneys and Private Advocates.
