Workshop on Human Rights, Sustainability Reporting and Responsible Business Conduct organized in Arusha

The Association of Tanzania Employers (ATE) in collaboration with the International Organisation of Employers (IOE) jointly with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) conducted a two days workshop on Human Rights, Sustainability Reporting  and Responsible Business Conduct for Employers, Private Sector Organisations (PSOs) and companies on 17th and 18th  October 2017 at Kibo Palace Hotel ,Arusha. The workshop was co-funded by the European Union and  aimed to raise awareness and build the capacity of ATE and its members on the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, GRI reporting standards and other instruments on responsible business conduct as the powerful tools to support the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals. The workshop was attended by representatives of Companies mainly SMEs as well as representative Organization of Employers and businesses.
