A Paradigm Shift of ATE After Lobbying And Advocacy Training

The Association of Tanzania Employers, ATE in collaboration with the Dutch Employers Cooperation, DECP organized a training Programme for ATE Management Board  and Secretariat on Lobbying and Advocacy at Millennium Sea Breeze Resort, Bagamoyo conducted on 12th & 15th and 14th and 15th September 2017 respectively.  The facilitators of these programmes were                         Dr. Arnout Decoster, Jeanne Van de Varde both from DECP insisted on ATE becoming one stop center for employers in Tanzania by meeting all business need, Labour and Employment Issues inclusive.  The Chairperson of ATE, Ms. Jayne Nyimbo urged the Secretariat together with the newly elected Board members to ensure maximum  representation of employers on issues  that increase the cost of doing business in Tanzania. She insisted that ATE would continue to expand its wings not only on matters related to employment but also other factors that affect businesses including  nuisance tax and levy for the betterment of employers in the country.
