TBL Overall Winner EYA 2019
The Association of Tanzania Employers (ATE) successfully organised Employer of the Year Award (EYA ) 2019 held on Wednesday 18th December 2019 at Dar es Salaam Serena Hotel and graced by Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office Policy, Parliamentary Affairs, Labour, Youth Employment, and Persons with Disabilities Hon. Jenista Mhagama (MP) and accompanied by one of her Deputy Minister Hon. Stella Ikupa (MP).
Tanzania Breweries Limited was announced the Overall Winner of the Employer of the Year Award 2019 edging out Geita Gold Mining Limited who scooped the First overall runner up and Puma Energy Tanzania Limited as the Second Overall runner up.
Speaking at the occasion, the Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office Policy, Parliamentary Affairs, Labour, Youth, Employment, and People with Disabilities Hon. Jenista Mhagama (MP) congratulated ATE for organising an excellent Award this year particularly the introduction of 3 New Award Criteria of Best Employer in Internship, Apprenticeship and Local Content.

ATE Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Aggrey K. Mlimuka said that the Employer of the Year Award which started in 2005 is a high profile and prestigious annual event aiming at recognizing and acknowledging best practices in a number of key human resources functions such as management of human resources, leadership and governance, training and development, performance management, quality and productivity, responsible business conduct among others.
